What is team building?
Team building is an ongoing process that helps a work group evolve into a cohesive unit. The team members not only share expectations for accomplishing group tasks, but also trust and support one another and respect one another’s individual differences.
Who is it for?
Management teams, project teams, multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.
For what purpose?
The common general purpose for having team buildings is to:

How does it work?
It is a structured process.
– Choosing your coaches
You will choose your coach from among those available during an initial introductory session. This is the ‘chemistry’ meeting.
– Setting up the contract
On this occasion, you will jointly decide on team building goals and indicators corresponding to each goal. The programme is drawn up with the client and tailored to their aims. The 3-party contract is drafted further to this session. A good contract will be clear and specific, so that all parties can reach a shared understanding of the bridging process.
Tangible and intangible learning goals are identified, such as:
- fostering stronger relationships and team cohesiveness,
- igniting a spirit of achievement to attain performance excellence,
- identifying the five components of a winning team,
- learning and internalizing corporate values,
- improving team communication effectiveness.
– The team building sessions
They take place outside the organization at a venue to be decided upon with your coach.
– The closure meeting
A 3-party debriefing session takes place to wind up the process and measure results.
